Hope Explored is a three-session series that introduces guests to the real and lasting hope that is found in Jesus. It can be run before Christianity Explored or Life Explored, and is perfect for anyone looking for answers to life’s big questions.

The Leader’s Kit also contains a digital download code so you can watch the films on any device. Hope Explored can be used one to one, in larger groups, in homes, or in churches.

ORDER YOUR LEADER'S KIT

1. READ THE LEADER’S HANDBOOK

The Leader’s Handbook contains all the details you need to run Hope Explored.

2. CHOOSE A VENUE

Think of who you want to run the series with. Is it people in your neighbourhood, or friends from work, or a sports club? Choose a venue that is practical and comfortable for your guests. Hope Explored can be run just as easily in a coffee shop or living room as a church setting..

3. SELECT YOUR TEAM AND TRAIN YOUR LEADERS

If you’re planning to meet as a group, we’d recommend at least two leaders. The Leader’s Area will show you how to identify potential leaders in your congregation and how to invite them to join the team.

Once you’ve selected your team, organise a time to meet together to pray and begin planning the start of your Hope Explored series.

4. SET YOUR DATES AND INVITE GUESTS

Work with your venue and team to set dates for your group, then start inviting people! You’ll find lots of promotional materials available to help with your publicity in the Leader’s Area. Keep talking about it – the best way to see people come along to a Hope Explored course is to ask them personally.

5. REGISTER YOUR COURSE ON OUR WEBSITE

Registering with us means you can choose to have your course or church appear on our Find A Course map. This helps you connect with people who are looking for a Hope Explored series in your area.

As a leader, you’ll also be given access to extra resources in our online Leader’s Area. This includes streaming video content, exclusive and customisable downloads, leader training sessions and much more.

6. LEAD YOUR GUESTS ON A JOURNEY INTO LUKE'S GOSPEL

In each session you and your guests will:

WATCH a film introducing the theme of the session

DISCUSS the theme using a picture prompt activity

WATCH a film with teaching from Luke’s Gospel

EXPLORE the passage from Luke’s Gospel together

The Handbook contains everything a guest needs for the course and there is lots of space to take notes.

7. STAY CONNECTED

It’s important to plan for ways to stay connected to guests as your series comes to an end. Invite guests to participate in a longer course where they can explore the good news of Jesus further: learn more about Christianity Explored and Life Explored on our website.

8. CELEBRATE

Celebrate completing your Hope Explored journey! Have a party. Gather feedback from your team and share your experiences with your church family.
